Porter Pie was created simply because I love to bake in a classic, rustic way reminding me of my childhood and my mother's dedication to baking from scratch. My diagnosis with Celiac Disease 13 years ago turned my baking into a gluten free quest for the familiar taste and texture of home-made wheat based cakes, pies and tarts.
